You can customise the rangefinder by selecting a 14°, 24°, or 36° field of view to compensate for different focal lengths and set limits to ignore unwanted foreground, mid-range, or background objects.
The handset control unit is the command center of the system. It features a touchscreen to access the system settings, distance readout, and working as an ultrasonic tape measure, quickly collecting and storing focus marks. The system is also compatible with ARRI Focus Units like the WCU-4 and Hi-5, allowing you to control everything with only one hand unit.
With the miniature ultrasonic bug transmitter you can easily follow object or actors located from 15.2cm to 36.5m away during complicated movements with minimal impedance from obstacles. Its tiny dimensions and weight make it really easy to hide, providing accurate, specific distance data from different active BUGs at once.
