The FUJINON Cabrio 19-90mm is a versatile zoom lens, weighing only 2.85kg and measuring 22.6cm in length.
Thanks to its modern lens design, it retains sharpness from center to corner with minimal distortion and focus breathing on S35 sensors. On larger sensors, such as the Alexa 35, it shows a subtle focus fall-off at the corners.
When fully open, the lens produces nice circular bokeh that transforms into a soft cat-eye bokeh towards the corners. Against a strong light source, there are many slightly purple spot flares due to the numerous lens elements.
The lens is parfocal and has a close focus of 85cm, with a macro function reaching 37cm.
Its detachable servo drive unit allows the lens to be operated like a broadcast-style lens, and when removed, the lens can be used with manual controls or external motors.
