The Leitz Thalia 65 lenses are based on Leica S medium-format optics, originally designed with a strong focus on rendering people above all else. They are clear and detailed without feeling overly sharp, delivering natural, smooth skin tones
They exhibit a gentle field curvature, subtly guiding the viewer’s attention toward the centre through a gradual falloff in contrast and resolution toward the edges
They comfortably cover our Fujifilm Eterna 55, as well as larger sensors such as the ARRI Alexa 265 or 65mm film
Despite their coverage, the Thalia 65 lenses remain compact and lightweight, featuring a 95mm front diameter and weights ranging from 1.06 kg (70mm) to 1.62 kg (100mm).
